HOURS & SALARY: Variable hours as-needed, primarily looking for daytime availability (9am to 5 pm) with a hiring range of $18.54 – $23.18 per hour depending on experience.

JOB SUMMARY
The Substitute Library Assistant provides patron service on an as-needed basis across library locations. This position is primarily intended to support short-notice daytime staffing needs, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed.

WORK SCHEDULE
Work schedule will primarily be daytime shifts and may include weekend and evening hours. Anyone who works for the library must be willing to work anytime the library is open (9:00 am to 8:00 pm).
PHYSICAL EFFORT AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
The essential duties and responsibilities of this job require the employee to move or manipulate moderately heavy equipment, boxes, carts, files, and stacks of material from one location to another.
