Position Overview: This position will be responsible for organizing and hosting MBNA’s Kid’s Ski School program. This is a part-time, non-benefited, contract position. The position will work in conjunction with the Coordinator and report to the MBNA board.
Duties: The Ski School Director (SSD) will be responsible for recruiting and organizing approximately 30 volunteers to teach lessons to small groups of children. These lessons will be every Sunday in February (2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd). The SSD will also be required to monitor, maintain, and organize participant and volunteer registration, waivers, health forms, and background checks. They will also manage all communications regarding ski school (primarily emails). Communication can include canceling lessons depending on weather and road conditions. On lesson days, the SSD will manage participant check-in/check-out procedures, provide snacks, and reserve parking spaces to accommodate drop-off and pick-up. The SSD will also be responsible for distributing hats to volunteers after the lessons have ended. SSD will attend monthly meetings to report to the board.

Ability to successfully pass the Wyoming Department of Family Services background check.

Previous event organization
Experience coordinating volunteers and working with families
Comfortable/confident with cross country skiing
