Community Engagement Specialist

The Community Engagement Specialist plays a critical role within the Development team at Food Bank of Wyoming, with the primary goal of expanding philanthropic support, community engagement, and volunteerism.

The Community Engagement Specialist is responsible for three broad areas: fostering and cultivating relationships with community members, volunteers, partners, and supporters to grow a vibrant and effective network of support for the Food Bank’s initiatives; identifying opportunities within Wyoming communities and effectively communicating and coordinating these with food bank leadership; leading initiatives that engage community members, partners, and volunteers with the Food Bank.

The position will collaborate with a team of professionals and volunteers working together to develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy focused on stewarding, creating, and managing volunteer and community relationships that leverage financial and in-kind support for the Food Bank’s mission, "to ignite the power of community to answer the challenge of hunger."
